The Racer is equipped with four jets that work together to allow it to scale walls and transition seamlessly from one place to another.
4 Wheels
The Pentair 360228 Kreepy Krauly Racer has four wheels, which allows it to move around the pool without getting stuck. Another feature that makes this model stand out is its steady suction throat.
The front wheels are painted in Steady-Grip Traction. This means that the tire tread is designed to evenly distribute the weight of the wheel, which helps in cleaning the pool floor.
Front Brushroll
The front-spinning brushroll of the Racer is designed to remove algae, dirt, and debris from your pool’s lining. It uses a patented design to remove these obstacles.
The Racer is a great tool for removing algae and dirt patches, but it tends to miss certain areas when it gets too heavy.
Wide Throat
The Pentair Racer is a pressure-side pool cleaner that features a wider throat that allows large debris to flow through. This unit is ideal for use in shallow pool areas.
The only downside to this system is that it doesn't have pressure per square inch of contact, which could make it harder to remove small dirt piles.
Sweep Tail
The rear part of the Pentair 360228 is where the Sweep Tail works. It draws water through the tail to dislodge algae from the bottom part of the unit.
The Tail is powered by a raw waterflow pressure, which means it’s prone to hitting the mark eventually. However, it’s also not designed to be operated by anything other than a pool cleaner.
