How to Install Pentair 263037 3-Way PVC 1-1/2 inch (2 inch slip outside) Diverter Valve

Are you looking to install a Pentair 263037 3-Way PVC 1-1/2 inch (2 inch slip outside) Diverter Valve? If so, you’ve come to the right place! Installing this valve is relatively simple, and can be done in a few easy steps.

In this blog post, we’ll walk you through the process of installing your new valve.

  1. The first step is to shut off the water supply to the area you’ll be working in. This is an important safety precaution, as you don’t want to be working with live water. Once you’ve shut off the water supply, you can begin connecting the valve.
  2. Start by connecting the valve to the pipe that will be supplying the water. You’ll need to use a standard slip joint fitting to connect the valve to the pipe. Once the valve is connected, you can install the included gaskets and washers. This will ensure a water tight seal.
  3. Next, you’ll need to connect the valve to the other two pipes. These pipes will be supplying water to the other two outlets on the valve. Again, you’ll need to use standard slip joint fittings to make the connections. Once those are connected, you can install the gaskets and washers for a water tight seal.
  4. The last step is to connect the valve to the water supply. This is done by connecting the valve to the supply line using a threaded fitting. Once the supply line is connected, you’re ready to turn the water back on and test the valve.

Now that you’ve installed your Pentair 263037 3-Way PVC 1-1/2 inch (2 inch slip outside) Diverter Valve, you can enjoy the convenience and flexibility that it provides. Congratulations!
